COVID-19 Resources

While we are unable to run programming during this time we wanted to help our poet-athletes, their families and our community as much as we can. We have gathered together a number of resources that we hope will help during this time.

Food Pick Ups:

Cleveland Metropolitan School District will be holding food give outs during the time schools are on break. Food will be given out at 22 school locations from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. Lunch and breakfast for the next morning is available for all children in the city of Cleveland 18 and younger. Shuttles will also be provided for transportation to schools giving out resources.

(Parent and caregivers no longer have to bring their children with them to pick up their meals. You may pick up meals for your family regardless of they are with you or not).

Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland

Pickup meals for kids from noon to 1 p.m. weekdays at the following Club locations: Broadway, 6114 Broadway Ave., Cleveland 44127; King Kennedy, 2561 E. 59th St., Cleveland 44104; and Saint Luke’s, 2705 Martin Luther King Jr., Cleveland 44104.

City Life Center: offering to-go meals, first-come basis, Monday-Friday from 1-3pm, 3340 Trowbridge Ave. Telephone – (216) 465-3997

Internet Set Up Assistance:

Due to the need for many students to have internet access to continue their schooling during this time, Charter Communications will be offering Spectrum Broadband and Wifi free for 60 days to those who do not already have internet. To learn more about how to sign up find more information here.
